Is it ironic that in order to shut down Windows XP, you have to click start?

1	Have you forgotten the shortcut keys?? Try this... If you are done and want to shut down, press ALT and F4 together. It will have the same pop-up when you are shutting down or planning to reboot... answered Aug 27 '10 at 14:48 airwolf 1.2k●34●43●57

They always need to make things more complicated on computers. Just make a "start" and "close" button and done :p

that is more complicated, windows has always been shut down via the start menu. alt f4 is the end shortcut and has the effect of ending a program or windows session
