I bought a new case but before I make the switch I want to monitor the temps in my current case of everything possible and write it all down that way I can do the same in the new case and see if the new case is better at keeping it cool. Whats your recommendation for programs that will give me accurate temperatures?

Good program, it does monitor temps very well. On the list is has the various components, is "System" the overall temp of the case?

CoreTemp is a great program for that, it will even tell you your temperatures down at the taskbar.
