I bought a gaming keyboard, headset, mouse, and mousepad off of Amazon yesterday. The keyboard says it will ship between September 2nd, and 8th. The other three wont ship till Sept. 21! Have you ever had this before? |

All three must have been purchased from a third party seller on Amazon.com, rather than being items Amazon.com itself stocks and ships. That, or they're high demand items? What exactly did you order? Be very careful on Amazon to ensure you're buying either direct from Amazon.com. Every single product listed on Amazon.com will either say: "Ships from and sold by Amazon.com." in which case you're golden or it'll say "Ships from and sold by [name of third party seller]." in which case it can be more of a hassle to know when the item is going to ship or arrive since many/most third parties don't provide tracking information like Amazon.com does, itself. It's also more difficult or at least less cost-effective to return items to third party sellers than it is to return items purchased direct from Amazon.com's own fulfillment centers. Amazon's awesome about handling returns. Actually, the three that are shipping later are from Amazon. The one that ships Spet. 2 is from Buy.com. It says under the three,"Sold by: Amazon.com, LLC" and the keyboard for Spet. 2 says, "Sold by: Buy.com". You don't have to share that level of detail. In fact, you should email or call Amazon to see what the issue is because that's very odd, in my experience. |

Usually Amazon seems to add at least a week to whatever the actual delivery date is, but the only time I've had to wait a month is for something that I pre-ordered. I have a current order that has an item that will be released at the end of the month and an item that is already out. When I first placed the order it said they would both ship on the release date, but now it has separated them in to two separate orders. The already released item says "shipping soon" but still has the original ship date, which usually happens, I'm guessing it will ship out Monday or Tuesday. Usually Amazon is pretty fast, even with the free shipping, unless you ordered from a third party. |
