I have had a Compaq Presario CQ60 for a little more than a year now, and so far, I have had a two charger failures, a battery failure, monitor failure, along with several other things. So far, only one of the charger failures have been replaced, along with the monitor failure. However after they had serviced my computer I still have slight problems with the monitor and the AC Adapter lasted for just about as long as the first one, yet they expect me to purchase another AC adapter as they don't cover the chargers that the use to replace ones that have failures. I had been informed that all problems with my computer would have been fixed when they would service my computer, yet they hadn't replaced the battery as its condition is continually degrading. Now that the charger is not working I cannot use this computer anymore (or until I purchase a new AC Adapter). I would just sell my Presario off and purchase a mac, but they are extremely expensive and I just don't have the money for it. Does anyone have some recommendations on a computer company that is cheap and reliable with their computers?

That company sucks as a whole. The products are absolute garbage, the support is terrible, and when you try to order something that's under warranty because the original part broke, they act like you're asking a lot of them. If you're gonna buy a cheap computer, get a Dell. They're WAY better.
