Hey, my friend has a site called Digimantis, it's a really nifty idea. We used to have a few members who'd post from time to time, but it's gone downhill and it's quite dead these days. It's an "open" blog, meaning that anyone can sign up and post. Obviously for obvious reasons one of the moderators has to approve it first until you get upgraded to a certain level when you have established yourself as a safe decent poster.

So, anyone can sign up and post - is this a good idea? Would you use it if it was active and got lots of traffic? Would you like to help build the community there by signing up? Anything more you could think of to make you want to go there?

Check out the site - Digimantis - where ideas begin

I signed up. I think if you want to be successful, you'll really just have to figure out ways to advertise it, and maybe work on the look of the site. As far as the open blog thing goes, I think you're doing good on that already.

Thanks for signing up, I did suggest to the owner to do a bit of work on the appearance. But thanks :D

Well it's not exactly and original idea, there must be thousands of these websites on the web. This one however I see potential in, if you run it well.
