Post about relevant content
Add your site to google's index at google.com/addurl
Put good and relevant tags on your posts so that it's easy for search engines to find the posts
Post about current topics that people are interested in
I'm no expert, I'm trying to advertise a blog at the moment too!

My short answer is: leverage social media to help get the word out (but don't spam). Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and even Flickr, among many others, can be used to great effect to promote a blog or other website.

0	Don't forget the old-fashioned directories. I have seen results from using a submission service, but be careful about the ones that offer a million submissions. There are only about 50 to 100 that count. answered Sep 01 '10 at 09:08 beerfroster 1
