Hi Guys, I use Skype and find it to be fine, I have also had overseas meetings by using the PS3, The sound quality is second to none. What are your thoughts on this. Chisum |

My personal favorite is Skype, also. A lot of people overseas use MagicJack and love the service, since it allows for a one time fee for unlimited use the entire year. The quality of any VOIP service is your internet connection. Even Skype and MagicJack and Google degrade with your connection. The new Google Call makes it cheap and easy to call (free to U.S.). Just keep in mind, the weakest link is your internet connection (or whatever else you're doing with it at the time) to degrade the call. |

I don't really think that other VOIPs beat Skype when it comes to sound quality, but still you want a reliable software with decent sound quality, so there are 3 alternatives skype, Google Talk and Teamviewer. I personally use Skype and Teamviewer. |

Out of all the VoIP I've used so far, nothing beats Skype for overall sound quality. I swear, sometimes it feels as if my friends are right next to me when I wear my headphones. |

My personal favourite is the app Voypi http://voypi.com/ It doesnt run batteries down like skype does. if you and your friends all download the app then calls and texts are free for all of you no matter where you are. :) |

As a gamer. The best VOIP is either Ventrilo or TeamSpeak. Clear quality, Low bandwidth. Love them both! |
