There was a poll on another site asking what musician you would like to see a live appearance from at the Apple Event. And it made me wonder if an artist showing up as a guest appearance is something Apple has typically done in the past? Personally, my mind would be BLOWN AWAY if Lady GaGa stepped up onto that stage! :D

I don't think they have ever done it before. (I could very easily be wrong.) But they had the lead singer from Cold Play play today. Didn't stick around the live stream to see what he played.

I've never seen or heard about it being done before, but it's very fitting since this was for music oriented technology: iPods. He played quite a few songs, plus an unreleased track: "Wedding Rings." Hope they release it.
