Do any of you know of a linux server similar to Mac OS X server in the functionality that you can create accounts that you can logon to remotely? By this I do not mean remote access to the server I mean you log onto a full feature os (located on the server) from your computer (does not have the os).

Took 10 re-writes but I think I finally worked out what you want. Your English was a bit confusing.

You want LTSP that allows you to install a Linux Terminal Server so that users can connect to your server.

If that's not what you want then the only other thing I can think of is to run the server tools on a standard Linux edition such as Fedora or Ubuntu that have the GUI running, then tell it to auto login to an account then use remote access to auto accept connections that put the right pass in. You can use UltraVNC to connect to it from a windows machine.

Hope this helps a bit.

Most Linux Server builds include LDAP or Active Directory integration, allowing you to login to computers bound to the domain using those network accounts.
