Do you think that Apple screwed up with the new nano? Do you think that they made the screen too small? Was it a mistake getting rid of the video camera or ability to play videos? Will you buy one or will it sell? Steve Jobs also conveniently left out the fact during the Keynote that it does not playback video anymore.

I don't think its too small, its just a touch screen won't really work on anything smaller than a phone, you something you can fit in your hand and touch, I just can't see it working for Apple, however of course people will buy it as its Apple's product which are normally great!

It was a great concept, but it could have had a better design.

The current (last) generation Ipod Nano was far from large, in this case the design feels off, price is too high for such a basic music player and losing the camera and video playback was a bad idea and I can see them correcting these errors next year just like they corrected the Ipod shuffle this year.

I think they did miss the mark with the nano.

It's too small, no camera - lacks what made the nano great.

The new-nano should have replaced the shuffle, with a different decision for the direction of the nano made.

I think that they did. The screen is too small for a touch screen. I know that they wanted portability, but now you can not have a portable music and video player. I know the iPod touch is thin, but it is still large. I think that there was a better way to design the new iPod nano. For the same price as the old one you get less bang for your buck. You can't play games either.

No, they didn't screw up. Apple has a habit of making everything just work. They find ways of making even the smallest of things usable. Like they added where when you scroll, you get huge letters telling you where you are. They made 4 icons per page, rather than 16 really small ones. They made the multitouch screen rotation. It all works, because it just works.

Sometimes they make mistakes like removing the buttons from the last Ipod Shuffle, I like my 2G shuffle and the new one coming out looks good.

I completely think they screwed up. My fingers aren't tiny. One of my fingers would take up half the screen by itself.

I personally got the shuffle because it didn't have a screen. I needed something small and portable and something that I could easily toss in my pocket or in a bag and not have to worry about the screen. I'm not sure if I'd call it a screw up, but I think it an interesting idea. I'm just glad I got mine before they put a tiny lil screen on it.

All of the iPod Nanos that were ever made had screens on them. Are you talking about the iPod Shuffle?

I think it's kind of nice and I like the touch screen, but I do think they screwed up in removing the camera and video recording capability's.

It's a weird little thing that doesn't make sense. It's an iPod touch nano. I think they should have gone back to the third-generation nano form-factor if they wanted smaller.

I'm STILL waiting on that FM radio to come to my touch though...

There are radio apps on the iPod touch! I think I can even listen to some local stations on my touch through the internet. I kinda hate the radio for all of the ads on it!

Yeah, but what about us folks who live in the country and aren't constantly surrounded by WiFi signals? I have to take an hour long bus ride to and from school, and there is no WiFi at the school either. I kinda need my FM radio :)

I had the FM adaptor for my old video iPod, but was really upset when it did not work on my iPod touch.
