What platform are you going to DJ from? (ie. Mac, Windows, Vinyl, etc.)

Are there any Disc Jockeys (DJs) in LockerGnome? | Would you kindly pass along what's needed to SPIN these days? I previously SPUN, but that was years ago with vinyl records. I'm interested in getting back to SPINNING a few gigs to supplement my income. If you SPIN and/or know of anyone that is willing to share some knowledge, PLEASE DO!

Ableton Live or Tracktor and a MacBook Pro and you can DJ.

You can get hardware controllers, which will improve the live performance element of the set.

If you really wanted to do something interesting - make a live performance patch in MAX/MSP, Autechre do that and its incredible live. You will also find a lot of MSP at art sound installations etc

If you loved vinyl, look into DVS (digital vinyl systems) such as searto scratch live or traktor scratch.

I still use technic 1210s with searto and a pioneer djm800 mixer. Waiting for the ableton bridge
