A couple of months after the unveiling of the revamped lockergnome.net we surpassed the 10,000 questions asked on this site. This is a milestone. The beta was privately tested to a few testers on May 28,2010 at around 7:00 PM PST with the first question asking "What do you like most about technology?". After 9 days from the first beta, the site has gone public. After 88 days after unveiling, the site surpassed 10,000 questions asked. That means every day there is about 114 questions asked every day since the public unveiling and 103 questions asked every day since the private beta. It also means that about every question gets around 5-6 answers. We would like to thank you for the tremendous amount community interaction on this site and hope we can reach another milestone soon. Feel free to comment on this milestone.

It is not directly a question, but it does not need to be closed. For example Chris post about editing privileges.
what happens when we hit one million? we we celebrate too?

That's good! Hopefully the site gets even more active not less.
Kevin, word of advice, please will you stop closing old questions as all it does is bring them back to the top.
but it is not during the site's high usage time. and I have been asked to close up questions that are now not relevant
