People seem to complain about how iPods, iPhones, and iPads can't sync to there music collection wirelessly. I was just wondering why someone hasn't used the technology that is found in most portable wireless mice to wirelessly sync there music collection? Until apple integrates it (I thought this would be self-explanatory). |

There is an app on Cydia, in which you need to be Jailbroken for, called Wi-Fi Sync. It is $9.99 and is compatible with Mac and PC. It does not work with the new iTunes 10. It syncs your device wirelessly over Wi-Fi, and the developer plans to add Bluetooth and 3G syncing. |

it doesn't need to be a specific dongle, bluetooth is bluetooth, ignoring version type. we just need apple to inter grate support into iTunes, but the whole point of plugging in while syncing is to also charge the device. Most Wireless mice and keyboards use either a 2.4ghz signal or bluetooth I think the main reason they wont use bluetooth is the speed. bluetooth 2.1 supports about 1-2MBps while bluetooth 3.0 has upto 24Mbps, but uses wifi at the same time. Bluetooth 4 is in planning |

I don't understand. Apple wants to embrace some "wireless lifestyle" and all of their Macs and iGadgets have Bluetooth, but they don't support syncing with iTunes over Bluetooth? |
