How do I create a blog on Lockergnome.com?

Right I'm new to blogging so go easy on me. I just recently signed up to WordPress so I can start doing my own blogs. My question is, whilst using Windows 7, is there any software I can use to write my blogs and then publish them. Secondly, how do I sign up to blog on Lockergnome.com? I clicked log in and entered my Wordpress username but it keeps telling me it's incorrect. What am I doing wrong? All help is very much appreciated. :)

Chris, please bare in mind I'm down with the flue and it's really late so structuring my question was not my top priority, therefore I wasn't looking for criticism from you, just an answer to my question.

It's "bear in mind" (bear as in carry) and "flu"; case in point.
