I've been using Swagbucks since 2009 and so far I've gotten over $500 worth of Amazon giftcards. I used Swagbucks to get stuff like a Xbox 360, a Magnavox DVR/DVD Recorder, renew my Nintendo Power Subscription, $20 PSN card, $5 Paypal to get iOS 3 update for free (lol) and some other stuff. To get a decent amount of Swagbucks I used to use the special offers a lot (combined with a prepaid debit card so I don't get charged for things I don't want), though the special offers aren't as good as they used to be so I mainly use Swagbucks TV and Swagbucks TV mobile on my Cricket Android phone to get Swagbucks now. I usually get 150 to 250 SB a day from that which adds up very quickly.
The best way to get stuff on Swagbucks is to redeem for $5 Amazon giftcards, though if you want real money to put in the bank then Paypal is the way to go, though with Paypal you wont get as much for your Swagbucks compared to Amazon giftcards and the higher the monetary value of the Paypal the better Swagbucks per dollar value (unlike with Amazon where $5 is the best value).
$5 Amazon Giftcard = 450 SB = 90 SB per dollar
$5 Paypal = 700 SB = 140 SB per dollar
$100 Amazon Giftcard = 11,599 SB = 115.99 SB per dollar
$100 Paypal = 12,549 SB = 125.49 SB per dollar
