We live in this world where pretty much anyone using a computer or is connected to the internet has at least 5 accounts of something, which they are expected to keep up with these 5 different password if not more. I'm looking for some sort of application that can help me manage all these passwords and the ability to change them ever so often (if possible). I don't like using the same password or passwords for all my online accounts. I've used KDEwallet but that's only if I'm using my Linux Mint 9 KDE set up and lately I've been using Windows or Mac. I've tried some applications out there but they seemed use-unfriendly, can't think of the names at the moment. Does anyone know of an application(s) that could possible be used on a multi-platform to help me manage these passwords?

I use eWallet on iPhone, Mac & Windows. The Mac version is still in beta, I believe, but the other two are solid. I've actually been using it since they launched a Pocket PC version years ago.

Download.com by Cnet at the above address has a free app for download called KeyWalllet that does exactly what your looking for.

I've used it for several years problem free.

I use two forms, just in case one fails me. ;-)

I keep a note of all of my passwords in Evernote (free on Windows, Mac, and other smartphones, including iPhone).

Then, I also use LastPass to store and log me in to all my websites. All browsers have plugins that permit this, plus they have an iPhone application.

Leo Laporte has raved about LastPass for almost two years now. I trust it, plus it doesn't store your passwords in the cloud like some do, just a hash that has to match up for you to log in... pretty safe.

Random Password Generator from IOBit. Trustworthy company, great products, and a great program itself! I use it myself. Truly great.

I use password keeper on Blackberry. That's password protected, plus my phone is password protected. If the password is enter wrong 3 times all of the passwords are deleted.

I think using a phone for passwords is optimum because it's always quickly accessible.
