My understanding is you can type sentences with swype. I have no trouble typing single words however it doesn't recognize spaces or where spaces should be. I know there is an option you have to turn on so it guestimates where spaces should be in words. Whether I drag my finger over the space bar or not I never get a space in between words. If i try and type two words it comes out as one word.

Okay, firstly, don't feel stupid. I just got an Epic 4g about a week ago which comes with Swype. (Love it by the way) And what i'm sure you thought was the logical thing to do is swype out your first word, then simply continue to drag your finger over the space bar to apply a space and continue on with the next word.

In reality, it is actually, surprisingly much simpler than that. All you have to do is lift up from the screen after swyping the word and it will automatically put a space in for you. AUTOMATICALLY. Ahhh, life's good. Oh, and if it doesn't (for some reason or another) you can always just tap on the space bar.
