What do people prefer? Mac or PC? And you need a VALID reason to back up your opinion.

Mac is mine preferably because it's simple and more reliable. HOWEVER, in a PC you can upgrade the parts, which is a downer for say a MacBook Pro owner.

I like both. Mac is the best for productivity and PC is good for gaming. One cant disagree that OSX isnt better than windows.

They are both good computers. The only thing stopping consumers from buying Macs is the price tag. A much better PC is worth the same then a simple Mac. But that extra money is what you get in return with the excellent quality of a Mac.. Thats whats nice about Macs. Both of their main components are from the same company so they are bound to work seamlessly, without any problems

Well I believe its what you are using your computer to do for example: if your going to use your computer for gaming I would go with PC or if you need to get heavy duty power out of your machine for things such as video editing PC is better. But if you just want a standard home computer for surfing the web, browsing emails and so on then a MAC will probably suit you better with the user interface and ease of use in that arena. There are pros and cons about both systems but its all about what your using it for and personally I am a PC man myself, but have used macs in the past their just not for me because i like to squeeze every last ounce of power i can get from my machine.

I am pretty sure you don't need to jailbreak, look here are two examples. http://www.dragonfiresdk.com/ http://www.appcelerator.com/

Both are great computers, I find Mac to be organized then a PC [mostly for business use] and a PC for gaming.

I have only used Windows but I think both of them are fine, it depends of what use you are going to be giving to the system!

Mac because for one they seem to care about the quality of their products a lot more than the p.c. manufacturers i have dealt with. and the support and community that surrounds the mac just can't be beat. its not just the Mac itself its all the things surrounding the Mac that make it the better choice. and Macs are also cheaper. compare a MAc spec for Spec with any p.c. of the same quality build and see who is cheaper. hp built a Macbook pro clone called the envy. the specs are less that that of the Mac. the quality is there but it lacks some features like firewire and backlit keyboard and its hundreds of dollars more expensive. Macs are cheaper to a pc of identical specs and quality. and the apple support just cant be beaten. and Macs can legally run os x windows and Linux with no problem. no pc can legally run os x. sure some can and do it well with an efi ship but not without breaking the Eula. for those reasons i say Mac wins. I like pc's too. i like building them its fun. i have 2 pc's and only one Mac. but for the average user. a Mac will be a better investment and a better experience overall. plus the resale value on a Mac is for greater than that of any pc. you can esily verify that by looking at what people will pay for a used Mac compared to a used pc. you an sell a 3 year old Mac for almost what you paid for it new. i promise you that wont happen with a pc.

I think it depends on what you are going to use it for. if you are a gamer you should get a pc, but if you do editing you should get a mac. Personally I like the mac.

I think that it would be Mac, as it has a really simple GUI, compared to Windows it is easier to use, not easy to become stuck or get lost in folders, even a NOOB at computers could easily learn OS X... another reason is that it is fast to load and OS X comes with ilife free, iwork you can have at an extra cost... thats something that Windows does not come with nor have, even Imovie is better than Windows live movie maker in parts, everything is better than Mac, but still they are both good, but I would choose Mac overall, I really hope that this answers your question and that you get the answer than you need, Thanks...
