Is a macbook pro worth the money.

I'd say if you're a geek like me, the MacBook Pro is definitely worth the money. It might be a lot or overpriced, but in my opinion-it is well worth the money. I am on my 15" MBP right now :)

Depends what your going to do with it. If your going to some regular day tasks, and maybe some designing, and your going to be moving around a lot, then the macbook pro is good. If portability doesn't matter then I would recommend the iMac. If budget matters, then the mac mini.

it is but it depends which one you get because the 13 inch macbook pro didn't get the core i3

in my experience it worth, i have a 13inch macbook pro i'm an architect i buy it because is portable, powerful i install 8gb of ram and increase the hard drive to 500gb 13inch is perfectly portable for me with alot of power and space.

Well even though i own one and am very very happy with it and impressed with hidden features i find every day still even after 9 months of use. i still don't think any computer no matter how fantastic is worth that much money. i think with apple you pay a lot for the name. however you still get the best on the market form them. its like bmw. bmw' share fantastic cars. one of the best. but that 80,000 dollar price tag makes you think twice. just the ignition key for one of those things is over 300 bucks. now would you still say b,w is one of the better cars? yes you would. but will you pay to much for it. yes you will. same goes for Macs. i have one sure. i think its the greatest laptop on the market. but i also think it can be priced hundreds of dollars cheaper and apple still be making profit. but sometimes if you want greatness you have to pay for it. another example. harley davidson motorcycles. are they worth it? Well the fastest most high performance bike in the world has a suggested retail of 9 thousand bucks brand new. however the loud noisy vibrating undependable harley is more than 20 thousand. is it worth it? hell no. but they remain the more popular bike don't they? so the real question is what do you want? if you love it and you want it sometimes you just have to pay for it.

I own the 13" macbook pro, it is definitely worth the money. It has a great design and good features, and Mac OS X is a great and stable operating system. Macbook pros are notebooks that can last a long time. Some do argue that macs are more expensive and it's not that they're wrong, it's just that you are paying more for a product that has extremely high quality and durability.

for the money you buy a macbook pro you could get the most awesome pc with all top of the art components

well it really depends n what your going to do with it

yea the money is well spent since mac's are great machines who use the power at full percentage and not like windows machines... no driver problems

No it's not.

Just buy a macbook, and buy a 1TB hardrive of amazon or somewhere, and replace it with the 250GB one in the macbook, the 1TB harddrive will cost less when you buy it seperatley.

you can do the same for RAM and other parts.
