XD this may seem like cheating to some of you that are here for the keyboard but still I want to ask the question ... what's the best way to get points? |
From the FAQ: When a question or answer is upvoted, the user who posted them will gain some points, which are called "karma points." These points serve as a rough measure of the community trust to him/her. Various moderation tasks are gradually assigned to the users based on those points. For example, if you ask an interesting question or give a helpful answer, your input will be upvoted. On the other hand if the answer is misleading - it will be downvoted. Each vote in favor will generate 10 points, each vote against will subtract 2 points. There is a limit of 200 points that can be accumulated per question or answer. The table below explains reputation point requirements for each type of moderation task. |
Answer other peoples questions that you know the answers to, and ask questions you want to know about. |
Answer questions properly and thoroughly and maybe people will vote your answer up. |
well, my mind floats towards answering and asking questions most of all, but don't spam and start doing things like, thumbs up 4 thumbs up, like sub 4 sub on youtube |
Give good answers, then you will be given "Thumbs up" and you might even get your answer to be accepted. If you go around putting up spam and annoying people, you won't get any karma, you'll actually lose karma. |
