I personally think that the social network movement has died down and that having another network trying to via for our attention is just a waste of time. That said though, this looks promising as another win for the Open Source community since Diaspora keep to thier word and released the source.

If we can learn from the works of others then we can create even greater things and who knows maybe the next big revolution movement would of started with some guy in his gargage, open source software, and an advance idea.
