How do I install xp on a usb memory stick?

I used a certain program before.... but I can't remember what. I could use it on any computer, it came with directx. If it needed a driver, all I had to do was copy a .dll onto a folder in the usb. I would get the dll from http://driverpacks.net/. Can someone help?.
