I woke up this morning with some "eye boogers" for the first time since I was like five. So why do you get eye boogers, what's their purpose? And how do they happen?

your dear ducts on the inside of bottom eye lids drain into your nose, thus why when u cry you get a runny nose...

some times, when you are stuffed up particularly, the mucus can go the other way into your eyes... thats it
