Where to meet cute geeky girls?

Hi. I actually live in Palmdale California inside the LA County, I moved here about a year ago from Israel. Back in Israel I used to date lots of girls who were "geeky" about lots of stuff, mainly tech. But here, I cannot find any place or girls who are interested in those kind of stuff.. I wonder where they all are, it's America, it's where it all started right?

So where should I look for? maybe I don't live in the right place?

Oh wow that's a little bit too cold and stuffy for me, I'm more of a sunshine, palm trees and convertibles kinda guy haha.

NY is interesting because we don't have a "Spring" or "Fall" per se. It's either extremely hot, or extremely cold, with only about 2 weeks of comfortable weather!

Still, you get used to it...
