HDCP and HDMI Question?

Ok, im looking to buy a new monitor for my computer/ TV. Im looking at a ASUS VH242H 24" Widescreen LCD Monitor from Tiger Direct. My question is can i play Blu-Ray Disc on this monitor or does it need the HDCP thing?

HDCP= High Bandwidth Digital Content Protection (it is used to prevent copiers to copy the movies on Blu Ray)

From site http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=2371 the monitor is HDCP Compliant and will work with the Player
