What is this - a question or a statement Ryan ? It appears to be a statement, not a question.

This is only meant to be a question. I wanted to see what other people thought. I had no intention in this being considered a statement in anyway.

@NoncDavid How would this be a statement? He didn't state anything.

Ryan asked what people thought of the site, that would be a question.

I think he thinks this relates to his and my comment on this: http://lockergnome.net/questions/81995/i-hate-the-toolbar Which it has nothing to do with it.

Yes, this is a Question & Answer forum in my opinion, people ask questions and I do my best to answer them.

No problem, although some people also use it to rant about random things, as the guy about the bar at the bottom :)

From the FAQ:

What kinds of questions can I ask here?

What's on your mind? More to the point: questions should be relevant to this community. Before you ask - please make sure to search for a similar question. You can search questions by their title or tags.

What kinds of questions should be avoided?

Please avoid asking questions that are not relevant to this community, too subjective and argumentative. What should I avoid in my answers?

This is not a discussion group or forum. Please avoid holding debates in your answers as they tend to dilute the essense of questions and answers. For the brief discussions, please use commenting facility. Remember that your comments can be voted up or down and this will influence your overall reputation.

ha ha ha Most of the questions on here are discussion style questions. What does NATO or school art projects have to do with a tech-style Q&A Forum? I don't like those questions. There are other forums that are more strict than this one, so this forum is good for its openness, but that hurts it at times, also.

I thought Chris said this was about everything not just tech questions.
