When you are typing a website's address, do you ever be bothered to use "www."?

Just curious.

Why do you recommend that?

I would say most the time no. Most the sites I visit are either bookmarked or in my history so I only need to type the first couple letters.

Nope. Don't need to. I use Chrome and like @IamTechCrazy said, most my sites are bookmarked. Even if I visit a new site, I skip the www.

I've only came across one website that requires www. to work correctly, every other site I visited works both ways. So I don't bother with it.

No.Only if i'm doing unusual stuff like https but the standard set of browsers such as opera, firefox, chrome and ie all allow you to simply type the name into the address bar.

I also have a bunch of custom searches set for amazon, ebuyer, youtube etc so I don't even need to go to the www. page to do a product search or search for a new video.

Yeah I do, being the uber nerd I am. I also write "http://www." Its just become a force of habit for me, even if I have a website bookmarked I will still use http://www.

I only do that sometimes in school (especially on the older computers because the old Windows computers that have Internet Explorer only. Our school have newer windows computers that have Chrome and Macs and Linuxes that have Firefox.) For example, I would always type http://www.google.com/ to access google, with the http://www. is the beginning and the forward slash at the end (/)...it gets into a habit...

I pretty much always use the www. It's just something I'm used to.

I just type in the Example.com. I skip all the other stuff. Chrome doesn't even show the "http://" in the address bar anymore. Most websites will redirect the Example.com to the www.Example.com if needed, so I always just type in the Example.com.

No, no reason to, http along with www is just a waste of time, most of my regular sites are bookmarked of course.
