At the time of this post, there are 10,811 questions asked on this site. It is 9:05 EST on September 22, 2010. I want to know how many more questions will be asked on this site in one year's time.

My guess is a total of 18,756 by 9/22/2011. Random...I know.

We did it! 1 year later and we added more than double what we had!

UPDATE: So it is Jan 6, 2011 and we are up to 13862. That means we went up about 3,000 questions in 4 months. At that rate, LockerGnome.net should reach between 19,000 and 20,000 by September 22, 2011 (one year from the day I asked this question).

UPDATE: It is June 8, 2011 and we are up to 17,480 questions. Meaning we added about 1,300 questions in just over 2 months. This puts us on pace for 20,000 - 21,000 questions by September 22, 2011 (one year from the day I asked this question).

I believe this question depends on many variables, which is why it is hard to answer. One could use inductive reasoning to calculate how many questions will be posted in the future based on previous site activity, but that's still susceptible to errors.

True. I'm just happy to see the number of questions go up rather than down. I know there are other variables. But this site doesn't show any sign of slowing down yet. :)
