I saw a question on what's in your dock. But I know most people use Windows computers, so you can't really leave out that much of the market. So this question is what's on your Superbar.

This is mine: My Windows 7 Superbar

Why windows classic?

(Sep 23 '10 at 09:22) ryebread761 ryebread761's gravatar image

I see people still do use the Windows Classic theme.

(Sep 23 '10 at 10:20) DazOwen DazOwen's gravatar image

I use the Windows classic theme because it improves performance slightly, and I'm just used to it.

how if anything the theme will make it slower

(Sep 23 '10 at 14:31) Tim Fontana Tim%20Fontana's gravatar image

Nice theme(mac).....

(Sep 23 '10 at 20:27) Joe Joe's gravatar image

No, it doesn't. Windows Aero is still activated underneath. This just throws more images that need to be loaded into memory therefor slowing down your computer.

Normally I like a very clean look and I have no desktop icons however I do have some pinned to my task bar because it is much quicker for programs I use many times a day.

Firefox, YM, Skype, IRC, VLC, Avast, Notepad, Paint, iTunes

Internet Explorer is probably the slowest web browser out there. I would suggest using Google Chrome instead of Internet Explorer.

(Dec 26 '10 at 21:34) Hugo Hugo's gravatar image

I have 2 reasons I have no other browser that I am using:

  1. I just got windows installed today and am not even home right now.
  2. I use OS X as my main OS and use windows mostly for gaming so I use chrome and safari as my main browser. (and yes when I want to do like 10 minutes or more of internet browsing I restart)

I will post a pic when I get home.
