How can I transfer songs from my MacBook to my PC, a desktop I built myself? I have iTunes on both.

Tried exporting the library. It came out as a .xml file, and I couldn't import it successfully.

Homesharing , its a feature from iTunes

advanced > enable homesharing > log in with your iTunes acc and password > repeat on other pc in your network.

OK, I have it. But how do I import the songs to my local disk? I take my laptop all over the place for debate, and I don't want to have to be at home to listen to music.
