Does anyone know any websites where I can practice my french vocabulary? So if I memorize a lot of them I won't need a dictionary badly. I need to memorize things like nouns and adjectives, verbs, etc. I know how to put the sentences together though.

I live in a bilingual community - French & English. I curse fluently in French and my other French is not so good,BUT you must learn the language - because you are in Canada, oui? Get a dictionary. It's inexpensive and you will use it.Bon marche,(good and cheap) and here's some lagnaippe! (a little something extra). Bon chance. http://www.wartoft.nu/software/selingua/learn-french.aspx

if you have an iPhone, there are several interesting app. If you want to use ready-made lists of vocabulary, I like Babel (they have full lessons in it) or iVocabulary (you can download vocabulary lists from their server). I've also tested very recently iVocAudio (looks new on App Store) that works only with the sound: you record the words you want to learn and their translation, and then the app trains you in a clever way => it needs a little adaptation to understand how to play, but it's really the most effective app for me! (as far as I can see, there is only a Lite version, free: this is enough for me because my target was to learn only 8 more words every day !). What i like about this last app, is that you can even work in your car while driving (i'm not sure this is recommended, but this is the best moment for me to learn). Hope this helps !

Lol I also tested iVocAudio Lite on my iPhone when it was released! I needed some time as well to really master the play mode but since I'm the kind of girls who can only learn when hearing, this app is really the best for me. Actually I'd like to know when the "normal" version will be released, because we can only record 2 projects for now... i asked this to the developer, hope I'll get the answer... I also hope they will improve the "Recording interface" that looks a little amateur to me, but anyway it's already very nice!
