Cracked CD (Please help me ASAP)

So I was going through my CD collection and I found this disc in a jewel case. I tried to take it out and the CD cracked. The crack itself is from the centre of the disk to the outside of the disc.

However, is there any way I could possibly repair the disc recover the data from it? Please help me as I have some valuable data on this disc, which may be important to me or have some sentimental value.

in this situation i would find it acceptable to torrent the contents, but im not sure what other people will think about that

It depends if it's torrentable data or not, it could be his photos or something. You can always try those guides that the guys down there provided, best of luck though!

2	According to ehow.com at http://www.ehow.com/how_5306204_fix-cracked-cd.html it is possible but they put a large emphasis on the possibility of damaging the CD player/reader from the disk coming apart from spinning at high speed. answered Sep 25 '10 at 19:51 teddgcm 955●20●26●40

If you have any more blank CDs, copy the data over to the new disc, if possible.
