I remember the Intel GMA 950 and X3100 in past low end computers. It was terrible. Even for basic tasks, I truly believe it boggled down the whole OS. Especially video playback. The GMA X4500 is Intel's most recent graphics accelerator, and it gets close to 1000 points on 3DMark06. Has anyone used it?

It cant handle any modern games that have any reasonable level of visual quality.. While many of then will run, the fps will be to low. It also does not provide acceleration for flash contend and many other video formats
I have used a system with it and it couldn't even handle half life 2 deathmatch without lagging.
Don't get a system with it if you plan on gaming
