What do you do to bring yourself out of a bad mood or when you just don't feel like doing anything? |
|
If you hit a really, really, really bad patch then often having a good cry actually purifies your soul Sometimes you need your own space. When i'm down I often go down to the sea. It's so relaxing and sitting by the endless sea just listening to the waves, it also helps you figure out why you are down or mad so that you can go and do something about it. Then when I get back I find some music, turn up the volume to an earth shattering level and get on with something i've found. After one, two or even 3 tracks I feel back to normal. But I generally play happy music all the time lest I remember the dark times that thwarted my past. The Alcoholic is a pretty inspiring tune & Hard Sun are two tunes that have a nice feeling. Also One Tribe, Poppiholla, Not Afraid, Duke Nukem Theme or just something classic like Three Little Birds. Basically whatever your into. The thing is to play it loud and potentially get up and dance around the house unless you're some kinda manic depressive goth then there is no hope. And most of all. Avoid negative people, if you are prone to negativity then this kind of people will always bring you down. I generally aim to just hang out with happy people or at least people who sway happy more than sad most of the time. |

I listen to my favorite music or read a good book. Sometimes I even go out for a run, anything to take your mind off of the negative and replace it with more positive thoughts and feelings. |

Music. Find some positive songs, or songs that pump you up. That's what I usually do. It works. xD I usually listen to Three Days Grace or Breaking Benjamin |

When it all becomes too much,I find that taking a nap helps. When I've 'crashed and burned' my wife knows its best to give me a little distance. Sometimes we all just need a little space, and I do not understand why teachers, managers, etc. fail to get that. Each of us do it in different ways. It's best not to invade some people's zones. They'll work it out; leave them alone. You know, there are 'rules' for meltdowns. That's a great question. I'll post it. This should be interesting. |

last time, when I was depressed, I played slipknot, loud, then an online battlefield session |
|
Usually I hear loud stuff like Metal or Rock- Specially the Queen of the Damned Sountrack, or I play halo multiplayer, that takes all my depression away :) |

I rarely have issues with feeling down the only time that can really happen is when people around me are being full of drama or depressed and music can be a mood enhancer. |
