Why do people say they will do something when they have no intention of doing it?
This causes more problems than not.
They say I will go and then not go.
They say yes when they mean no.
Why not just say what you will do to begin with and not waste other peoples time?

Sometimes people have the intention to do what they say they'll do, but then something comes up and they can't do it. You have to take that into consideration before you declare hate on someone for not doing what they said they would do.

Well theres plenty of reasons. It lies deep in the minds of humans. You could do it in a threatening way. "YOO NIKKA IMMA JUMP YO ASS", and it never happens. Then you have the "Sure, I'll go", later in the day you call them "Dudeee I was too lazy". Theres no clear answer for this. There can be plenty of reasons family, troubles, just plain laziness. So yeah you just have to know who are the reliable people and you should take into account they have reasons for not showing up.

People that do NOT follow their words ...
You answered your own question. That's the type of people I distance from. I'd guess it reflects on how they were raised. No need to psychoanalyze people with no honor, because whatever comes out of their mouth is fecal matter. Move on. You can't depend on them.

its called being shady. most people who are "shady" are usually in the process of becoming something they arent. aka doing drugs to be cool therefore they prefer their cools drugs friends over your lame non entertaining ass. it happens with everything. its called social trends. then you have selfishness added to the mix. thats when it gets really confusing. people then CHOOSE to either be cool or not be cool because of how they want to feel that day. people are now trying to decided how they want to feel on a day to day basis. people are becoming very irritable because of how crazy pressured society is becoming. people drink a cup of coffee in the morning to keep up with all thats going on for the next few hours. after the coffee wears off they feel stressed and tired. its easy to blow people off when you feel those things. we are coming to a point in our existence where we arent sure how to appease both DUTY and LOVE. how do you listen to another persons feelings when they keep trying to distract you from your job? you cant just tell them to STFU because then they get hurt. people are just experiencing information overload. its like, I KNOW ILL HAVE FUN WITH JEFF IF I GO TO THE BAR TONIGHT, but i have to wake up early in the morning for work so instead of trying to explain to jeff AGAIN that ive been late already because of the bar, ill just not call him or go and explain later. its like that.

Why ask why?
It would be better accept that people, as a whole, are unreliable AT BEST, and then you can move on with your life EXPECTING the worse, though you may hope for the best...
A good piece of advice is to just plan things as if NOBODY is going to be truthful!
