This is kind of a different Resumé questions in the site, So I am a Civil Eng. third year student. Basically I haven't started yet to take class of eng since I need to take all of my math classes and Physics classes before, but I am well instructed in technology, Java, etc and I have a good GPS. People come here from NASA, HP, Microsoft, Google, even if I am not a Computer/Electrical Eng. Student can I apply to those jobs and could be elected? and if so what should I put in the Resumé that could be interesting to get picked up? those that jobs are related to what I have mentioned.

A good job would do great to pay my College studies :)

No, I didn't mean that. I didn't know what you meant by translator. But I see your other question now.

I haven't made a resumé yet because I am still in high school. But when you do make it apply I don't see why shouldn't apply to any job you want, even Google. It doesn't hurt to try, you might regret it if you don't. But I heard from one of my teachers once don't put random stuff in that you didn't actually do anything like I was in Chess Club, wooo, so if you were in Chess Club and president and did amazing things then its ok. (Stupid example I know, by the way I'm not in chess club :) )

You don't need to work for either of those companies to make a lot of money. You may get more notoriety from working for them, but civil engineering is still civil engineering whether you work for company A or company B. Your resume only tells one half of your story, but if you have to submit a resume before interviewing make it your own.

Why don't you show us what's on your resume now and we can help from there.

Try and keep it short and sweet. If you ever took a break to travel the world, do not put that in it. Give your qualifications, relative education, work experience. Don't staple it, use a paper clip, use a brown envelope if you can. Good Look.
