It's probably been asked but on my way out to sleep I thought i'd ask a simple question. Are you a heavy or light sleeper? I ask because when i'm asleep i'm totally gone. I've slept through fire alarms at school camps(thankfully it was a test!), slept through my dog howling so much that the neighbors wake up (it's 15 & senile)... and of course alarm clocks. I go to bed at a normal time and wake up at a normal time, but when i'm down for the count then i'm down. So how about you? Do you have any odd or funny stories or like me do you secretly believe that your alarm clock chooses to not go off on purpose? |

I'm a very light sleeper. This question woke me up. Thanks. |

I'm a heavy sleeper also. I couldn't even count the amount of times I have missed the bus, because I slept through the alarm. |

I'm a light sleeper, when I finally go to sleep. I have a very difficult time falling back to sleep unless I've pulled an all-nighter and crawled into bed at 4AM or so. When I had to wake up at 5AM daily and be at work by 7:45AM or earlier, I would force myself to be laying down for bed by 10PM because it'd still take me another hour or two to fall asleep. That said, I drank a lot of caffeine back then so I was probably still riding the caffeine train at 10PM. ;) |

I'm a light sleeper. For example I've woken up because of someone talking (not shouting) in the next room. I may wake up, if someone comes home. But if I'm too tired I can sleep like a rock. I'm usually very attentive and rarely light-headed. I dare you to rob my home :P |

Usually I'm a pretty heavy sleeper. Unless, for example I have an exam the next day. Then I sleep very lightly because I'm kinda nervous... |
|
I'm a kinda heavy sleeper once I can get to sleep. It takes me forever and I don't know why. |
|
Normally, I'm able to adjust my sleep modes. Light Sleep mode is for power naps, meditation, or on-guard for practical jokes. Deep REM Sleep is after working a double-shift.
You could paint eyes on your eyelids. Even when you close your eyes, it looks like you're awake =0p... |

Im an extreamly light sleeper, and an insomniac, I average about 4 hours a night but if someone spoke in a nearby room I will wake up. |
|
I'm a heavy sleeper, but not too heavy. Alarms wake me up but other things don't. For example I sleep through thunderstorms on a regular basis, sleep through people talking, etc... But my house is usually quiet so when I'm sleeping I'm rarely disturbed. |
