Have you overclocked anything before?
Me personally...no. I am on a wimpy old HP Laptop...5 years old...first computer I have had to my own...working on a build right now though.

I over-clocked my 3dfx Voodoo 2 back in the day,
It was set at 90mhz - which was under spec set by the manufacturer, so i pushed it up to 100mhz - not that it probably did a lot, but as a teenager partially enjoyed the rouge hacker element to the whole process lol
I did try pushing it further, but encountered concerning glitches etc and really didn't feel comfortable abusing my video card when limited in the money department.

I cant comfortably use a computer unless it is overclocked as far as it can go while still being stable.
The CPU, memory, FSB, GPU and video memory, must be overclocked.
If your system can handle it, I encourage everyone to do so ASAP, overclocking is free performance so it is impossible to not want it.

I've done basic OC's. My latest is on my E5300 2.6ghz, got it safely to 3.04ghz with just the stock Intel cooler at the moment. I'm not going to push it further until I have a replacement in case I fry it.But it is sailing pretty smoothly
