What does your (or your parent's) house look like right now? Feel free to post pictures. Here's mine: alt text

It's a Cape Cod style house, which is I style that I very much enjoy.

Cape Cod house plans are almost always 1 ½ story home plans; these are floor plans where the master bedroom is on the main floor, and some or all of the other bedrooms are on the second floor. The term, Cape Cod house plans, is also often used to describe an exterior style, in this case, a house plan style familiar on Cape Cod, MA. Such cape Cod house plans are typically simple structures with a balanced façade and almost always clad in real or simulated wood shingles. Many Cape Cod house plans are also expandable, in that they allow the owner to leave all or part of the second floor unfinished until needed.

This is what the outside of my house looks like. My family lives on a golf course, and these first three pictures were taken in the winter a year or so ago.

The last one is what my desk looks like (I really need an updated picture to show all of the changes that I've made).

Disclaimer: I do not own this house. This is what my parents have paid for.

That's one beautiful house. I'm in college right now... so unless you want to see a messy dorm room then view this video of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=icuunBqIqqM

Back home, my mother just bought a new house so I have no pictures of it, lol.

Hard work and a lot of saving up is how I did it. :) Also, I did lots of the building myself with some help from my dad, and doing that instead of hiring a contractor can save you 10-20% of the costs.

If you're 20 and that's your house, I'm impressed. That's far more square footage than my family of three has, and we live in an area with relatively low cost of living (so, lower home costs.)

Very Nice =0p... I like your home very much. Thank you for sharing. I lost my home a few years back, so I've been currently renting. We sold the houses & businesses when mom passed away. My dad & stepmom have a house in Las Vegas, NV & the Philippines.

Pardon me, but I was curious what your house looked like on the inside. Nice YouTube Channel. i enjoyed your reviews as well. Very helpful.

Are you going to post a Video Tour of YOUR New Home?

Possibly, I'm still moving in though so I don't have the time.
