I used to use it in XP and also made alot of batch files. But since I upgraded to Windows 7, I don't use them any more. |
I use it EVERY SINGLE DAY at home and at work. And I'm proud of that. |
I use it just about everyday while I am at work. On my PC, I rarely have a need for it unless I am messing with IP addresses. |
I do most things in the Terminal, doing things via a GUI I find to be too slow. |
It's good for doing things you can't do in the gui. It's also much quicker and easier to give instructions on. I use it to test lan and recover computers. |
I use it all the time. I have powershell & GnuWin32 coreutils installed. ;) Very useful stuff! |
i do i fond it better that the windows interface i wish i still had a coppy of dos |
I use it more and more every day -----(50 characters)------- |
I use the terminal in my computer science class for debugging java applications. |
I still use it daily whether to shutdown another computer in my house and I am just to lazy to get up and do it or to format a flash drive. I write Batch files once in a while to make tasks easier for other people in my house. Somethings are just easier from a DOS prompt and somethings are better from GUI like browsing files. I also use it sometimes when I program in C#. TO answer your question, Yes, I still use the command prompt. |

I think that Command Prompt in Windows limits you too much. I prefer to use Terminal in OS X and Linux. |
