What Is Your Favorite Style Of Gaming?

For me, it's definitely handheld/portable, because I just LOVE being able to play a game in the car and just hang out with my system, making sweet sweet technological love to it and playing games with it, giving it a nickname, and making it into my new best friend.........
Okay, no, I'm not really that crazy, but I do love handheld gaming. No matter what, it has always been the best for me. Just taking my systems on the go was always so much more fun than sitting at home. I personally can't wait for the Nintendo 3DS. I would like to hear how you feel about the Nintendo 3Ds also, so let me know along with your answer, and reason why, and what your favorite type of that thing is, like for home gaming, let me know what your favorite system is. PC gamers, favorite gaming services, and that kinda stuff. Can't wait to hear from all of you! ;)

PS; My favorite handheld, obviously, the Nintendo series, from GameBoy and up.

I prefer pc and console gaming. With PC I love strategy games like starcraft and Age of Empires. With console my favorite is first person shooters like Halo. I was never a fan of handheld, I prefer a big high definition tv plus I don't game on the go. I have a HTC Evo and I'll occasionally play games on it when I'm stuck somewhere like waiting at the doctors for example. What sucks about handheld gaming is battery life. I also don't think you were joking about how much you love your handheld games lol but that's cool. My pc is my baby :)

PC gaming and Console gaming, anything involving FPS :), kinda like the puzzle games in handhelds too and Pokemon of course.

I miss the days of pokemon red and blue. Hours and hours on my gameboy. Then I got the adapter to play on my super nintendo and life was good :)

Strategy games like Command and Conquer and Age of Empires, and Simulation games like Flight Simulator X on PC only. And first person shooters like Halo and Call of duty mostly on the XBOX360. Although I do play some shooter games on the PC like Far Cry and Unreal Tournament 2004.

I think if I had a better computer then I would play most games on my PC.

First Person Shooters by far. I just love killing virtual people. A few of my favorites have been:

Counter Strike : So many good lan team games on that. Mainly in the basement of the local computer shop.

Quake 3 : The final time I played that we did 1st years vs 2nd years in college.

Battlefield 2 : Again, lots of good times playing with and against friends.

I don't play games now though. It's just not as fun playing in your room 'on your own'.

I've always been more of a console gamer. I've played games on the computer, I've got an original DS and PSP, but I've also got just about every console released. I think I'm missing the 6 most obscure consoles, but that's it. Everything mainstream from Atari 2600 and up I've got around here somewhere.

I also prefer to play multiplayer games, as it is always better to play with other people. That being said, my favorite genre of game is a combination of the Adventure/RPG/Zelda type and the D&D/RPG/Elder Scrolls type. Essentially, if you can get me a Zelda style game with character stats like the Elder Scrolls games, and make it multiplayer offline, I will be a VERY happy man. ^_^
