They are constantly being created all of the time. I did a quick Google search, and found a website that has a very extensive list of domain suffixes including different countries.

Awesome list! I was going to direct him to one of the domain name registrars, but even they don't have that complete/concise a list I don't think. I need to bookmark that one!

I'm going to have to agree with ageekmom on her statement from above. That list you produced to the community is absolutely amazing. I lists many that aren't listed when you go to purchase a domain through several hosting providers. Amazing list!
