Should they just nuke the oil leak? So and so has done it in the past. I forget who. |
That might cause more problems than the oil leak itself. For example, how many fish live in that area? You could be killing a bunch of them. You could also cause a lot of nuclear radiation in that area. |
Why would they nuke it that would just cause radiation. furthermore i believe that should be tended to and let pass. Its like the common cold there's no cure but it can be dulled down. |
If they nuke the oil spill, it would cause serious problems. They should ask other companies for help, because right they just trying anything. If they could somehow reroute the oil leak to a tank it might help a little bit. |
That would cause a major back fire on the united states and south america. There would be mass amounts of radiation that would pollute the ocean and poison the wild life. The oil spill is already making a mess of the ecosystem and we will find a reasonable way to fix it. |

Not if they use the design i just sent to them. i designed a bladder device that will work. it is a kevlar enforced expandable bladder. all they have to do is get it down inside the pipe and then quickly inflate it with water and it will expand and seal off the pipe. from there they can repair it and reopen it for use if they choose or pour cement over top for a more permanent seal. but it will work. its up to bp if they want to use it or not. i am building a small scale model of this to demo it on youtube soon. should be done tonight. i think bp doesn't want to seal it off. i think bp wants to capture the oil coming out of it so those greedy fools and make their money. notice on the news they are no longer saying we are attempting to seal it off. they keep saying they are capturing the oil and siphoning it to the surface for tankers to remove. yeah that tells me they have no desire to seal it off. they want to sell the oil coming out of it. my design is cheap simple and fast to erect. and with some help from the right people it can be built to scale and i am 95% sure it will work first try. but so far bp says no. they are to greedy to seal it off. they want their oil. greedy idiots. |

yeah that wouldn't kill so many fish now would it duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh |
I doubt that anyone even thought of doing that. And what would sending in a nuclear bomb help? It would cause a lot of radiation, kill most of the fish around there and probably even kill humans. Burning it would be better, but it wouldn't burn. Spray some napalm on the water and fire that - try to put that out. Blowing it up definitely wouldn't be a solution. |
