It would be better is people were smart enough to ignore stuff like race and religion and vote simply on who ever can do the best job.

Voting based on religion is always wrong. Politics and religion should be seperated, always. It doesn't matter if Obama is a christian or muslim or whatever. As long as he is a good leader and makes good decisions, it's all good. Black, white, gay, straight, etc, should NOT matter at all.
Also, what's up with people thinking that every muslim is a terrorist. Is every christian a crusador?
Also, Obama is the best thing to happen to the US in years.

Think of all the Muslims that have literally nothing to do with terrorism, but just have the same religion as a typical extremist. Not all muslims are terrorists. There are Christian terrorists, too. But everyone seems to ignore them.

Does Obama have the ability to give the order to kill former fellow muslims?
Religion will most likely cloud Obama's judgement. That's why U.S.A. military personnel of the Muslim faith are screened. If you were a person of Muslim faith, could they depend on their judgement & actions to protect & serve, even kill a fellow muslim?!?
Actually, it would matter. ***Barack Hussein Obama II*** ran for President of the United States of America as a Christian. If he is truly a Muslim, then those voters who voted based on religion, should be allowed to take their vote back.
That election should then be invalid, and a new elections be held.

I'd still don't understand what it matters which religion someone has if he does his job well that should be enough. I understand the whole 9/11 thing but really you shouldn't judge someone over his religion just how he does his or he does his job.
