I have a mid 2010 mac mini and i am looking at putting windows 7 on it but i don't know which version to get i want it to play my games and run some on my windows apps do I buy 32 bit or 64 bit? will bootcamp run my games as if it was a pc running windows? will the drivers support my games? thanks |

So, just install the 64-bit in Boot Camp if you have 4GB or RAM or more, other than that, go with Windows 7 x86 (32-bit). That's all you should be worried about: RAM. I have a new MBP 2010 with Windows 7 x64 and 4GB DDR3-SDRAM, and it runs games fine, just like a regular version of Windows. I've noticed a few differences, but it works just fine. PS. Don't count on maxing out Crysis, especially on your Mac Mini. ;-) |
