Just save your money. Maybe get a job. Before I saved enough money for my iMac, I had a really cheap Acer, with windows Vista (Eventually replaced with Linux Mint, and then Windows 7.) It was one of those computers that was "Made for Windows Vista," but was EXTREMELY slow. I got a job, and saved practically every dollar I earned. It was worth it. ;) |

Save up, buy a whole bunch of computer parts, and build yourself a computer. |

I just googled the specs..... your just ungrateful, there's nothing wrong with that machine I can only dream about having a laptop with a dual core processor. I currently have two computers HP Compaq Evo D51c CPU: 1.5Ghz Single core RAM: 768MB SDRAM HDD: HDD 1 160GB (Upgraded) HDD 2 40GB Graphics Card: nVidia GeForce2 Ultra (AGP) 64MB Memory 250Mhz Clock Speed Original OS: Windows 98SE Current OS: Windows XP Dell Latitude 110L CPU: 1.3Ghz RAM: 1.2GB (DDR1) HDD: 160GB (Upgraded from 40GB) Graphics Card: Mobile Intel(R) 915GM/GMS,910GML Express 8MB Memory 200Mhz Clock Speed Original OS: Windows 2000 Current OS: Windows XP Moral of the story don't bitch about having decent equipment. |

You can get a great desktop at this point in time for approximately 500 or 600 dollars. It completely depends on what you want to use the computer for of course, but since it sounds like you're just looking for a decent machine, a preassembled desktop from Best Buy or Staples should fit the bill. |

I googled you computer because I had never heard of it before. I would say try to get one with a bit faster processer, more RAM and a little bit bigger hard drive. What manufacturer depends on what one you like. If you do not have a few manufacturers in mind then maybe do some research about company's like Dell, HP, Acer, Gateway etc. |

Your specs should be good enough to upgrade to Windows 7. Go to the Microsoft site and download the Microsoft Windows 7UpgradeAdvisor Here. This will tell you if you've got an upgradeble Laptop. |
