I am looking for a new pair of good affordable over ear headphones. I don't use headphones for much gaming but i listen to A LOT of music and I want to get the best experience out of it I am looking for sturdiness in mine and quality of the sound and comfortableness, preferably under $100 |

If you are looking for sound quality under $100, I recommend in-ear headphones from sennheiser or maybe AKG. You however are looking for over ear headphones and frankly you don't really get great quality from such headphones under $100, and don't get me started on Skullcandy as they are the most useless piece of cr@p I have ever seen in terms of sound. I would recommend getting a pair of Sennheiser HD555's and in the future maybe you can upgrade them like this guy here. apparently you can modify these headphones and get GREAT sound out of them, very much bang for your buck :) |

Sennheiser MOST DEFINITELY. Bose you'll wanna spend more so they're the only choice. Or sony MDR700s. |

i like the over the ear arm headphones *idk how to describe here is a pic

I prefer the Bose QuietComfort set, but that comes with around a ~$300 price tag, if I remember correctly. Alternatively, the Apple earbuds work just fine for me. |

skullcandy all the way. i have used them for a few years now and i like 'em.. and they are not all expensive |

you should get skull candy! they look and sound amazing
Thanks for the great answers from what I have heard and done some research on my own i believe i will most likely be going with Sennheiser.
