Hey everyone, I'm looking at building a server for my home, but know little about RAID. Is there any type of RAID configuration (or anything else, for that matter) that will allow me to set up 4 hard drives and have the computer see them as one big drive?

It depends on which raid setup your going for. Do a Google search on raid 1, which is mirroring. That means 2 hard drives act as one and all data is duplicated or mirrored onto both. That way you always two copies incase one drive fails. That's one example, there are many raid setups depending on what your trying to achieve.

You actually seem to know nothing about RAID. That's precisely what RAID does. Please do your research before asking the question here, as it prevents redundant search results on google and makes you seem/feel less stupid when you do the research yourself.
