Why is there a 50 character minimum here? It's always needed.

Its so that people don't just put one word questions. Yes in some cases when the question being asked is a one word question it is pretty stupid but it is to prevent, for lack of a better term, spam.

It's to reduce spamming. I would like it if there would be alot of post with a "random input" question in it to just get karma, so they added a pre-caution to make sure everyone keeps it sane.

It's so people don't put answers with no answer or just one letter such a 'a' to get extra points.
