So I was looking on the internet and decided that I need a new phone from the crappy Nokia that I have currently got right now. I am looking at the RIM Blackberry 8900 Curve;
I love it and have used it - but is there any better phone out there? JUST TO LET YOU KNOW - I do not want an iPhone - I have already got an iPod Touch. So should I go for the Blackberry or something else? |
Hmm... well if you said that you don't want an iPhone, then there's really nothing out there that I can recommend... they just don't stand up to the iPhone IMO. |

If you're familiar with Blackberry, and that's what you like ... RIM Releases Blackberry Torch 9800 Slider

The Blackberry torch is nice to if your in to Blackberry. But the curve 8900 is a great phone if thats what you like, in fact thats the same phone I got my mom for her birthday and she loves it. (Im trying to get her to upgrade to the torch but she like the 8900 to much). In the end its your discussion but I would recommend a Blackberry if you don't want an iPhone. |

If you do not want an iPhone I would suggest an Android device because it has a lot of great features. I haven't used Blackberry too much so I can't say much about it. |
It depends on what carrier you want. If you don't want an iPhone, good alternatives would be the BlackBerry Torch or any Android phone including the Droid series or HTC's phones. |
I would highly recommend any Samsung Galaxy S series phone. They're all about the same except for carrier. I'm typing this answer from the captivate (AT&T). The blackberry has a hardware keyboard and many people say that swype for samsung phones is faster. I completely agree and I love it. |

I had the Blackberry Curve for two years and loved it. But last week I changed to the Droid X and have never looked back! There's no comparison. |
Since you're familiar with Nokia interface, I would suggest E72. |
